To be held at Thornleigh Indoor Sports Stadium (‘The Brickpit’) 1 Dartford Rd, Thornleigh (off Pennant Hills Rd) on Sunday, 23 August, 2015 (Note – Some matches will commence at 9.00 am)

Entries must be received by Monday, August 17, 2015. Note: No Entries accepted on day of Tournament Medals for winners, and singles runners-up. Kiosk open all day!

* This year we are continuing the ‘Premier Event’ open to any player who is graded Division 1 or above, and who is affiliated with TT NSW. There will be prize money for this event – Singles $1000 winner, $300 runner up, and $250 each for the winners of the Doubles, and $100 each for runners-up in the Doubles. Trophies for winners/runners up for the SNDTTA 2015 Autumn competition, and The Top Five will be made available to be handed out by clubs at their convenience Entry Form

Entrants in the Juniors/Premier events need to pay an Insurance fee of $10 if not already registered in 2015 through TT NSW (TT NSW No..………..) ______………. ______Total payment ______...... Notes:  Due to time constraints, players may only enter 2 Singles and 1 Doubles events  Players must enter events based on their personal grading regardless of their team’s competition grading, or in grades above this. Refer to July 2015 grading list as shown on SNDTTA website.  Even though a doubles partner is nominated, separate signed entry forms must be received for each player. (Please confirm with your partner before submitting your entry form to avoid duplicated nominations)  Players may only enter in one event per timeslot. Commence play-offs all divisions 2.00 pm Other Finals Once the Round Robins have been played (likely to be completed by the early afternoon) the tournament committee will schedule in the semi finals and finals where possible and in conjunction with the players Entries must be received by Monday August 17 2015. Late entries may be accepted upon receipt of a late fee of $5.00 per event, provided they are received before the day of the event and do not result in the need for a redraw. The Tournament Committee’s decision as to whether to accept a late entry is final. The late entry fee will not be charged where a player is requested to complete a doubles team. Notes: • The above times are indicative only, and the committee reserves the right to alter the times to suit the situation on the day in conjunction with the players involved. • If numbers are sufficient, round robin pools of 3 players will be played in the first round. • If there are less than four entries for any singles event (or three pairs in doubles), the committee reserves the right to cancel that event and refund entry fees. Alternatively the option to play up a grade will be given, if available. Affected players will be advised.

With these District Championships, all champions and runners-up in singles, and winners in doubles, will receive medals. The Premier Event winners will be given their cheques after the finals have been completed. Tournament Conditions

1. No food or drink is to be taken into the main playing area. 2. The Tournament Committee will have sole management of the championships, which will be played under the rules and regulations of the SNDTTA. 3. Unless a specific local ruling has been given, TTNSW rules will apply. 4. White (or yellow) Stiga 40mm balls will be used for the tournament. Therefore no predominant white/yellow clothing is acceptable when using the same colour ball. 5. No claim will be recognized by the SNDTTA should any player receive any injury during the playing of this tournament. There is Sportscover insurance held by Table Tennis NSW which may cover injury for TT NSW members in some circumstances. 6. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to cancel or combine an event if there are insufficient entries. 7. Note that unless they are already registered with TT NSW in 2015, a special fee of $10 is required for insurance and registration purposes in the Premier or Junior events - if the entrant has NOT played in the SNDTTA Autumn competition. For all other events, entrants must be current (2015) paid up members of SNDTTA. 8. For Veterans, players must be 60 years or over as at 31 December 2015. 9. Juniors – must be 15 years or under at 31 December 2015, and must not be a Div 1, 2 or 3 team member with SNDTTA, nor may they be of a Div 1, 2, or 3 standard. If a junior is in a SNDTTA interclub Div 1, 2 or 3 team they may enter the respective Div 1, 2 or 3 closed event. 10. False or misleading information on an entry form shall leave the player liable to disqualification from subsequent events. 11. All players will be required to umpire at least one match for each event entered. Failure to umpire when called upon to do so may lead to disqualification from subsequent events. 12. In the case of a doubles player being unavailable, replacements may be allowed, subject to the approval of the Tournament Committee. No substitution will be allowed after the pair has played one match in the event. 13. The scoring system will be as in the Autumn competition, where each game is to 11 points. All singles matches will be best of five games, and doubles matches to be the best of 5 games. Premier Event finals will be best of 7 games. 14. No entry form will be accepted unless accompanied by the entry fee. 15. All entrants compete at their own risk. 16. The entry form must be signed by the player to signify acceptance of all conditions. 17. It is the responsibility of the winner of each match to ensure the scorecard is correctly completed and returned to the control desk. Mistakes discovered after the next match has been played will not be corrected. 18. Players are ineligible to play in a grade below their personal grading. 19. Players not in attendance when called to play will face immediate disqualification from that event.
