Paired with the Gulf Coast Faith Formation Conference Jan 2016 Paired with the NCCL May 2016 Conference in Jacksonville, FL Midwest – Chicago area NorthEast – Buffalo diocese Los Angeles Diocese – near Loyola Marymount (located in Long Beach, CA)

This event will be set up as a 2 day intensive training session that will be available to be offered throughout the country when we find (arch)diocese that would like to have the session offered in their area. As costs of production are important for the bottom line success of this conference, we wish to find locations that would work for our budget and then we feel comfortable approaching the diocese to see if the conference would be welcome and serve the area.

Overview and Concessions requested for 2016

Looking for a facility that can accommodate our overnight room, F & B, and meeting room needs.

With a room block of that starts at 150 on peak, at $99/per room with complimentary parking * With the potential to grow to 630 sleeping rooms Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday 20 150 150 10

 Contract to allow 75% attrition rate  10% commission on rooms  1/40 comp rooms to the master  (2) Complimentary 2 bedroom suite for 3 days of the conference to be used as hospitality suite  (12) Upgrades made available  (12) Staff rooms available for duration of the conference at 50% of the group rate  Complimentary parking for local volunteers at the conference registration desk or participating in Conference liturgies, not for attending the conference.  Complimentary parking for participants who will be driving to the conference F & B budget (prices shown are inclusive for 200 people – $15,000. This is only an estimate, we aren’t sure of the final F&B budget)

Meeting Rooms

Complimentary meeting room space or sliding scale meeting room fee based on overnight room pickups for:

Meeting Room needs - Room #1- Main Ballroom – chevron seating for 200-250 with room for 20 x 30 stage and aisle - Room #2 – Exhibit Hall: (10) table top exhibits (in a room near the Gallery) Rooms #3-6- Breakout Rooms: (4) Breakout rooms that can seat at least 50-75 each - Room #7-10 Storage/Offices: (3) offices for such as Registration, AV Storage, Additional Storage Spaces

Each room will need to have: Complimentary podium, head table, and small table suitable for an LCD projector Complimentary chairs and staging, tables if required for the purpose of the room Complimentary piano provided at no charge for duration of the conference, complimentary tuning

Complimentary Internet lines for an internet café, main ballroom, offices and breakout rooms

History

If requested, we can supply some past conference details, but as we are using a different model from a 4 day to a 2 day conference, the past conference history is not as relevant in this case.
