RECIPE OF THE MONTH: If you have a recipe you want to share, please send it to me at [email protected]. Come on ladies and gentlemen – send me your recipes.

Sugar Free Chocolate Cream Pie

3 Pkgs Swiss Miss Sugar-free chocolate drink mix 4 Tbsp corn starch 2 pkts Sugar Substitute 2 ½ cups milk * 1 Graham cracker pie shell ½ cup margarine * Whipped topping

Combine corn starch and drink mix in saucepan, add milk gradually. Add margarine and cook until mixture is thickened. Remove from heat, add sweetener and pour into pie shell. Cover with topping.

* May substitute baked pie shell if desired and also can use * Meringue in place of whipped topping. If using meringue, brown in hot oven.

Things to Ponder

 If God wanted me to touch my toes, He would have put them on my knees.  It’s not the pace of life that concerns me; it’s the sudden stop at the end.  Raising teenagers is like nailing Jell-0 to a tree.  Most families are like fudge . . . mostly sweet with just a few nuts.

. Some Hints for the Ladies:

Did you know that freezing Brown Sugar as well as powered sugar prevents lumps?

Household tools that have rusted can be restored by making a past of salt and lemon juice, applying to rusted areas and rubbing with a dry cloth.

If your ferns are looking a little sick, plant a soggy tea bag or two in the soil. Don’t know what it does or why, but the plant will recover and thrive.

MY CLASSIC CAR STORY Sorry No Car Story I sure wish some of you would share your car story with us
