Private Car Owners Convention—Savannah, GA This year the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners convention will be in Savannah, GA. The trip there will be in several segments: Late October—Cimarron River moves St. Louis to Chicago to Washington DC Monday Nov. 2—Special train from Washington to Jacksonville, FL Tuesday Nov 3—Florida East Coast Railroad from Jax to Titusville, where we turn onto the NASA railroad and into the Kennedy Space Center. Lunch and tour the Center. Spend night on the train in New Smyrna Beach Wednesday Nov 4—FEC to St Augustine, FL. Lunch and tour. Then on to Savannah. Thursday Nov 5 to Saturday Nov 7—train parks in Savannah for convention activities. Sunday Nov 8—Savannah to Washington DC. Nov ? -return to St Louis, through Chicago.
