Application Form Instructions 2017 UW Health Nursing Poster Fair

 Posters presented at other venues since May 2016 are automatically accepted but the on-line abstract application must be completed for the poster to be displayed at the fair.  One poster within each category (research, EBP, Quality Improvement, Other) will be judged “Best in Show”. Additionally, a single “People’s Choice” Award will be issued.  Posters must be capable of being displayed on a 4ft by 8ft cork/bulletin board. Previously displayed posters do NOT need to be reprinted for this event but you must include the size of your poster in the on-line application. Posters printed for this event must be no larger than 36x48 inches.  Poster must be labeled on the back top right corner with name and contact information.  A “Meet the Presenters” session will be held on the day of the fair, Wednesday April 12th, from 2:00- 3:00 p.m.  Applicants with accepted abstracts may begin hanging their posters in the HSLC atrium starting at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Posters must be hung by presenters by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Presenters or a designee of their choosing will be responsible for taking down their poster immediately following the “Meet the Presenters” session on Wednesday, April 12th which will end at 3:00 p.m.  Letters of acceptance or denial will be sent via email in early mid-February, 2017. Accepted abstracts will also receive a number corresponding to where the poster will be hung during the event.  Newly prepared UW-Madison School of Nursing and/or UW Health posters should use the PowerPoint poster templates designed for this purpose. Nurses outside of those organizations will need to refer to your internal policy on presentations.  If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact:
