Unit 8- Oscillations Chapter 14
Text College Physics, by Randy Knight, Brian Jones, and Stuart Field, Pearson/Addison Wesley, 1st edition, 2007.
Student Learning Objectives Understand that oscillatory motion occurs in systems with a linear restoring force. Be able to describe actual physical systems that undergo oscillatory motion. Be able to describe oscillatory motion with graphs and equations and use these descriptions to solve problems of oscillatory motion. Be able to work problems that use conservation of energy in harmonic motion. Apply concepts of damping and resonance to oscillatory motion.
