Part I: Exam

Directions: 1. Download the AP Course Description and Test Answer Sheet 2. Read each document. 3. Take the AP European test using the Test Answer Sheet ONLY. a. There are only 38 Multiple Choice Questions. b. The test begins on page 7 of the Course Description. c. After you do the multiple choices, then go on and attempt to do the Free Response Section. c.i. The FRQ will include a DBQ (Data Based Question) section. 4. Continue to parts B and C of the Sample Test (pages 31 and 32). 5. Self-Score your multiple choice section. Don’t worry, this will not be officially recorded, I just want to get a snapshot of what you know about European History and to familiarize you with an AP caliber-type exam. 6. Be ready to turn in on the 3rd day and discuss your test scores and how you answered the Free Response Essay.

Part II: Registering For The Course

Part III: Course Syllabus

Directions: 1. Download the course syllabus 2. Read the course syllabus and familiarize yourself with the following from the syllabus: a. Themes b. Topics c. Focus d. Primary and Secondary Sources e. Possible DBQ and FRQ’s at the end of the syllabus. 3. Be ready to engage yourself with these ideals at the beginning of first semester. 4. You don’t have to do research, but be aware of what we will be examining throughout the year.
