Make-up Work Make-up work, as defined by the Department of World Languages at the Y.A.E. Townview Center is any work that would have been accomplished in class had the student been present. This work is defined as any or a combination of the following:  oral exercises  aural exercises  exams, quizzes  reports, projects Make-up work will be completed during the instructor-defined office hours (tutorial session). The same 100% grading possibility will be afforded.

Retesting Dallas ISD policy currently does not provide that students enrolled in grades 9-12 be given the opportunity to take a test or a quiz a second time in instances where a student has failed the first time the assessment has been given. IF the instructor allows the opportunity, the student must attend a tutoring session prior to re-testing. The second test or quiz must be completed by the end of the 5th week of the grading period.
