Job Title: IT 1st Line Support

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week including matchdays

Department: Information Technology

Location: Goodison

Responsible to: IT Systems & Services Manager

Role Summary Provide 1st line support ensuring the maintenance and proper functioning of the club’s ICT systems. Although based at a primary site there will be a support requirement at our other sites. A driving license and own car is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities  To provide hardware and software support services for the Everton Football Club network.  To help maintain hardware and software inventory including security patch management.  To assist in monitoring software license compliance.  Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues  Installation, configuring and troubleshooting of network hardware  Comprehensive desktop support to staff, students, and visitors.  Software deployment to workstations on networks  Audio Visual and Internet support  To ensure user compliance with EFC network procedures and provide user training where applicable.  To maintain and control stocks of IT consumables.  Keep up-to-date IT records as required by the IT Manager

Knowledge & Experience Essential Desirable  Knowledge and understanding of current  Microsoft Exchange administration trends and developments in information  Ideally 1 year’s support desk experience technology  Experience of a helpdesk ticketing system  Active Directory Management  Networking fundamentals (switching/cabling/DHCP)  Mobile Technology (IOS, Android)  Knowledge Microsoft operating systems (Windows 7 / 8 / 10 / Server 08/12/16)  Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Office365 & Apps Personal Attributes Essential Desirable  To work well within a team setting,  Demonstrates an interest in the field of complimenting existing team dynamics sport  Motivated to develop new skills  Innovative in approach and outlook  To be able to work independent of peer support or supervision  Must be able to work under own initiative as well as part of a team.  Comfortable in talking to staff for establishing requirements and deploying solutions on site.  A keenness to engage and learn new technologies through research and practical experience.  Detail orientated

Qualifications Essential Desirable  Graduate in an IT related subject OR a  IT certification(s) desirable (i.e. CompTIA, non-graduate with a minimum of 1 year's MCP etc.) work experience in IT GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
