TMS Music Department’s Music in the Parks At Six Flags Great Adventure Friday, June 3rd, 2011 February, 2011

Dear Parents,

The 8th Grade Chorus, 8th Grade String Orchestra, 8th Grade Band, and the Jazz Band will be going to the Music in the Parks Festival at Six Flags Great Adventure on Friday, June 3rd, 2011. The day will start with an adjudicated performance at a school in the Jackson, NJ area. After all Tenafly groups have performed, we will spend the rest of the day at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. This is an all- day activity. We will leave TMS at approximately 7:30 A.M. by bus and return at approximately 10:00 PM (more exact times will be given at a future date).

We are estimating that the cost will be approximately $80.00 per child for the Festival, park admission and coach bus. We will not, however, have the final estimate until all reservations are made because of the cost of the shared buses.

Please return the completed form (attached) and a check for a deposit of $50.00 made out to Tenafly Middle School S.O. AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, but no later than Friday, February 18 th . If you have any questions regarding this trip, please feel free to contact us at the emails below.

I understand that they will travel by bus on Friday, June 3rd, 2011, returning in the evening of the same date. I have enclosed my deposit of $50.00 (made out to “TMS S.O.”) and understand that there will be a balance due.

++Due to present world conditions, it is possible that this field trip might have to be cancelled or postponed, even at the last minute. Neither Tenafly Middle School nor the Board of Education can be financially responsible for any monies which will be lost. Every attempt will be made to refund your payment, however, this cannot be guaranteed.
