Mark 3:13-15 13 And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him. 14 Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach, 15 and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons . . .
We must be a people that practices discipleship
The next generation is waiting to be raised into their spiritual position
Jesus commissioned the twelve, first of all, to be with Him.
Discipleship, or mentoring, involves the sharing of one’s life with another life
One of the main components of discipleship is clarification ; dealing with mindsets, mentalities, perceptions, heart issues; ...... answering questions
Clarity is POWER! The CLEARER you are on what you WANT to show-up, the more likely it becomes . . . Lance Wallnau
1 II Corinthians 1:24 Not that we have dominion over your faith, but are fellow workers for your joy; for by faith you stand.
We are never to exercise dominion, manipulation, or human lordship over someone else’s faith, but to be encouragers of their joy.
Luke 6:40 A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.
A pupil is not superior to his teacher, but everyone [when he is] completely trained (readjusted, restored, set to rights, and perfected) will be like his teacher. Amplified
“Trained - - - Readjusted - - - Restored - - - Perfected - - - Set to rights.” Amplified
Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
“Come after Me.”: Accompany - - - Go with - - - Grow as you go
“Deny yourself”: A willingness to forsake your own way
“Take up your cross”: Take up God’s purpose for your life
“Follow Me”: Exercise obedience and discipline in taking the same road Jesus is traveling
Follow - - - Learn - - - Become like
THE EPHESIANS 4 PROCESS Ephesians 4:8-16 (NIV) 7 But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. 8 This is why it says: “When he ascended on high, he took many captives and gave gifts to his people. (Psalm 68:18)” 9 (What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? 10 He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) 11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of
2 Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Jesus came out of eternity, and entered the realm of time . . . He was born as a baby; He grew; He developed; He aged normally; He died
