Secusmart’s anti-eavesdropping solutions to remain on trend in 2015

With sales of more than 3,500 in Germany alone, 2015 is off to a flying start for Secusmart and its high-security solutions

Düsseldorf, 20 January 2015 – Secusmart, the global expert in high-quality anti-eavesdropping solutions, has begun 2015 with cause for celebration. The company, which is headquartered in Düsseldorf and is a subsidiary of BlackBerry, has already sold around 3,500 of its SecuSUITE for BlackBerry 10 high-security solutions in Germany alone, reaching this figure in just 18 months. During this time, more than ten international governments and agencies responsible for providing emergency services worldwide have put their trust in Secusmart.

SecuSUITE for BlackBerry 10 assures sovereignty

Secusmart’s successful range of services for protecting against electronic eavesdropping and its commitment to the economy of the German Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia recently led to it being named as one of the winners of the “NRW-Wirtschaft im Wandel” competition, which honours forward-thinking companies in the region. The prize pays tribute to the company’s product portfolio, including the SecuSUITE for BlackBerry 10 high-security solution, which Secusmart uses to protect voice and data communication from potential bugging. “In the wake of the Snowden revelations, secure communications have become more important around the world. SecuSUITE for BlackBerry 10 enables us to provide governments and public authorities worldwide with a high level of security. This allows each country to retain sovereignty over its internal communications,” explains Dr Hans-Christoph Quelle, CEO of Secusmart GmbH.

An anti-eavesdropping app for everyone

In addition to the successful SecuSUITE for BlackBerry 10 high-security solution, Secusmart provides companies with a means of protecting their communications in the form of the Vodafone Secure Call app, which acts as a shield against electronic eavesdropping. Secusmart joined forces with Vodafone to develop the app exclusively for use on this mobile network. Integrating the SecuSUITE for BlackBerry 10 technology designed for government use, the app’s optimum price/performance ratio makes it attractive to both large corporations as well as small and medium-sized enterprises that value secure voice communications. The Vodafone Secure Call app is easy to set up and manage, and enables business users to benefit from Secusmart’s security technology regardless of which device they use. Secusmart GmbH (www.secusmart.com) is the leading expert in the development and implementation of comprehensive solutions for protecting businesses and governments from electronic eavesdropping. A subsidiary of BlackBerry®, Secusmart has created the SecuCALL anti-eavesdropping app, a simple and effective solution for protecting their customers’ communications via their mobile network operator which works independently of the platform and device used. Secusmart has already partnered with Vodafone to launch the app under the name Secure Call. With its SecuSUITE for BlackBerry 10 high-security solution, the Düsseldorf- based company also protects the mobile communications of German and foreign governments as well as agencies and organisations responsible for providing emergency services.
