At Oveta Culp Hobby Elementary, we are focused on doing what is best for students in order to create a challenging, positive learning environment where every Patriot grows every day. We believe a home-school partnership is a vital key to a child’s future success.

The entire staff at Hobby Elementary promises to do our personal best to:

 Maintain open access and communication between home and school.  Provide a safe, secure, caring environment.  Empower our students to achieve academic success through high quality, engaging work.  Show respect for our students and their families through professionalism and dedication.  Provide parent involvement opportunities to enhance student learning.  Share information about student progress in a timely manner.

As the responsible parent/guardian of a student at Hobby Elementary, I will promise to do my personal best to:

 Become involved by providing support with my child’s schoolwork, homework, and making sure we are always prepared for school.  Help my child achieve the absolute best in education and behavior goals.  Show respect towards my child, teachers, and school staff.  Ensure responsible school attendance by scheduling appointments after school.  Participate together in parent conferences and school events.  Share schoolwork and notes daily.  Support 100% ID card check, arrival and dismissal procedures, and all school policies.
