Employment Proposal for a Part Time Social Media and Administrative Assistant Splash and Dash Car Wash and Detailing

Rationale:  Increase social media presence and content on Splash and Dash social media sites  Assist with administrative data entry  Provide follow up courtesy calls to fleet customers, assist with securing new clients as assigned

Benefit: As new owners of Splash and Dash in Richmond, VA, you know how important it is to market the changes to your business and the steps that you have taken to increase customer service and satisfaction. Currently, your Facebook page has 175 likes and your Instagram account has 11 followers. Hiring a dedicated social media content staff could increase brand awareness as you expand your business and target new individual and fleet customers. In addition, this employee can assist with administrative tasks that may not be getting done or getting done on a limited basis such as database entry using basic excel skills and follow up courtesy calls to fleet customers.

This proposal describes what a part-time Social Media and Administrative Assistant could do for Splash and Dash Car Wash and Detailing to assist with social media content management, database entry and customer service. Current employees will have more time to devote to customer service, business management and sales; as a result, current employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, and brand recognition will increase.

Job Functions:  Create and upload social media content to Facebook and Instagram twice daily (additional social media sites to be determined).  Edit and watermark photos with a Splash and Dash logo.  Edit and upload video content.  Interview staff and customers and upload content.  Assist with courtesy calls to fleet customers.  Generate or follow up with sales leads as assigned.  Complete data entry and basic excel tasks as assigned.

Proposed Employee: _____ is an eager, determined and enthusiastic individual interested in obtaining work in media. ___has a passion for all things media, especially radio. He has excellent computer skills and is a team player. ___ has demonstrated a commitment to quality work through his previous internships and volunteer work at ______, ______, ______, and ______. At ______, ____ conducted interviews with staff on daily operations for his Spreaker podcast channel. Employment Conditions: ____ would be a part-time employee of Splash and Dash Car Wash and Detailing. ___ would be hired at the entry rate of $8/hr. Specific hours and days are negotiable between _____ and Splash and Dash based on business needs and tasks. Work responsibilities will be split between onsite at Splash and Dash and work from home based on need and environmental conditions. Sam Anderson of Anderson Consulting has suggested 10-15 hours per week at least for social media content creation. It is suggested that ____ start at 15 hours per week to provide social media content and other administrative tasks as assigned. ____ preference is not to work from home; if future additional locations have an accessible office, ____ preference would be to work out of that location.
