Atrium Plana - a new designed radiant heating panel from Lindab

Lindab has developed and produced cooling and heating panels for over 25 years and is the leading manufacturer of waterborne indoor climate solutions. “The new Atrium Plana panel perfectly complements the Lindab radiant panel range. Together with the Atrium C/H and Loggia panels we believe that we have a complete product range that will cater for any need within radiant cooling and heating panels”, says product manager, Magnus Jacobsson.

With a high degree of radiation together with a high cooling and heating capacity, Atrium Plana is the perfect substitute to ordinary radiators. Lindab’s Atrium Plana solution is the lightest and most commissioning-friendly heating/cooling solution on the market today.

The Atrium Plana solution offers an excellent indoor thermal climate as the radiant heating/cooling secures a higher level of thermal comfort, compared to conventional heating systems. The Atrium Plana panel will exchange thermal energy with the room surfaces visible to the panel. The heat energy bounces off those surfaces to heat/cool the rest of the room. As all surfaces in any room will either absorb or emit radiation, an even temperature will be secured in the room. In modern buildings with high architectural demands the wish for free floor space is ever increasing. By freeing up floor space the design and aesthetics seems unlimited and window surfaces and other room layout details can be planned without focusing on the buildings heating/cooling system.

Lindab’s new Atrium Plana is produced by high technologic laser-welding. By using laser-welding the Atrium Plana becomes best in class considering heat transfer. Atrium Plana’s flat and smooth surface integrates perfectly into a false ceiling and appears almost invisible with the surrounding ceiling tiles.
