Employment History
July 2004 – Present Lead Geologist, Cairn India Ltd. , Gurgaon, India.
Offshore East Coast of India (Present Assignment) Presently constructing a petrel geocellular model for a producing field. Reconstructing palaeogeography of the main oil producing shoreface and coastal plain deposits. Involved in coordinating third party contingent and prospective resource studies. Involved in the ongoing 4D seismic survey where my main responsibilities are to provide geological inputs as and when they are required. Preparing and finalizing of well proposals and prognosis for the upcoming drilling campaign which will be taking place immediately after the 4D seismic survey.
Offshore West coast of India (Previous Assignment ) These fields started off as being gas producers however as a result of deeper drilling changed from gas to oil producers. I was a part of two development campaigns, first as a new hire and then was involved right from the mapping and sizing of the reservoirs to identification of actual targets and generation of final proposals and prognosis. Main area of experience with these fields was in the development of the deeper oil targets. Educational History
