Buyers Responsibilities:  To keep this guarantee offered to you in force you must have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 7 days of purchase. If your puppy is being shipped to you, this step is not required as they must see the vet for a health certificate before being shipped. The seller (The Royal Bulldog) must be informed within 24 hours of the examinations results in writing. The failure of notification to seller will result in the void of this guarantee.  During the initial exam, should your veterinarian find the puppy to be in poor health or detect any life altering or life threatening health conditions you must contact me within 24 hours of your vet visit.  A diagnosis of coccidiosis, giarrdia, parasites, mites (mange of any type) or any other type of bacterial infection internal or external does NOT render your puppy unhealthy. Failure of the testicles dropping, Parvo, theft, drowning, heat stroke or heat exhaustion does not constitute a replacement puppy.  This guarantee does not cover what in the Bulldog breed is considered normal. Examples could be but are not limited to: Cherry eye, entropion, “loose” hips, skin allergies and stenotic nares (collapsed nostrils).  This guarantee does not include poisoning, accidents, negligence or behavioral problems, as training philosophies and environments vary amongst individuals.  This guarantee does not include uneven bites, undescended testicles, inguinal or umbilical hernias, fleas, ticks or ear mites, coccidian and Kennel Cough (which is common in puppies that are shipped and is usually caused by bacteria). Kennel Cough is self-limiting and like the common cold it must run it’s course. Full recovery is expected and Kennel Cough on it’s own is not life threatening.  The care of your pet is your responsibility, not the responsibility of The Royal Bulldog. Use common sense and educate yourself about this breed! Here are some tips to go by. o Do NOT take your puppy out in public, not even if you carry him/her until it’s entire series of puppy shots are complete. o Do NOT allow your puppy to walk on the floor of a vets office until his/her entire series of puppy shots are complete. o When going to a vet visit, put a towel down on the exam table until your puppie’s entire series of puppy shots are complete. o Do NOT let your dog in a pool or body of water without a life jacket until you know if they are able to swim– they can sink! o Do NOT ever offer your Bulldog rawhide bones – they will choke! o You may offer them pig ears to satisfy the need to chew – only until 6 months of age! o Bulldogs & Valley Bulldogs cannot tolerate extreme temperatures, hot or cold. Do NOT ever leave them outside for an extended period of time….they can have heat stroke! o Always feed your dog premium dog food: We recommend only Royal Canin. o Spay or neutering should not be done prior to 6 months of age. o We highly recommend crate training, however a crate should never be used as a place for punishment for undesired behavior. A crate should be your puppies bed or comfort zone. o When your puppy is small, only allow room for sleep, not sleep and potty or they will do both. . The bigger they get, you can then expand their sleeping space.  Get a crate with a divider so you can make the space the size you need it.

A puppy should only be expected to hold their bladder for as many months as they are: example = 3 month puppy should be able to hold their bladder for 3 hours at a time. But this does not mean that every puppy can. This is only a guideline. . When you take your puppy out of his/her crate, go immediately to their potty place (outside). Do not let them walk outside as they may stop to go…carry them out. . Be consistent, be consistent, be consistent….you get the idea.

 Any physical injury to your puppy that occurs after you leave our property that is not genetically related is not covered under this guarantee. The safety of your puppy is your responsibility.  Provide your puppy with routine prevention care such as but not limited to: o Physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian for healthy checks as well as sick visits if necessary. o Follow veterinarian guidelines for vaccinations and deworming. This is critical!

Health Guarantee: Every effort has been made to assure that the puppy you have selected is healthy on the date of delivery and that the puppy has received proper vaccinations and wormings. The buyer has been informed of these and of future vaccinations and wormings due and will agree to have them done on time. Failure to do so will render this contract null and void.

Because of the variety and quality of dog foods available and numerous canine illness are NOT covered by vaccinations, we require that all Royal Bulldogs be kept on "NuVet Plus Canine" and are given the manufacturer’s suggested dosage for a minimum of 1 year. This Nutritional Supplement is only available through breeder recommendation. You will be instructed concerning this when you take possession of your puppy. Your puppy is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase (purchase date is considered to be the date the puppy goes home with you) against fatal and/or life altering congenital disease which adversely affects the health of the animal. If the dog dies within this time frame, the buyer will pay to have a necropsy done to ascertain the reason of death. If the reason is congenital, the seller will replace the puppy when the next litter due has puppies of the same quality and the new litter reaches at least 6 weeks of age. No cash refunds are given at any time for any reason. Only replacement puppies are offered per this contract.

Buyer is aware that owning a puppy means trips to the veterinarian and understands that he/she will be responsible for all payments for veterinarian care.

A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows:  The puppy must show the defect by 12 months from purchase date.  The seller must be notified of the problem within 24 hours of the licensed veterinarian’s determination and have two reports from unassociated veterinarians stating the problem and then the seller will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value when a new litter arrives and no sooner.  A puppy with a defect must only be euthanized with the prior permission of the seller to qualify for a replacement puppy.

 The buyer is responsible for all transportation costs to and from the seller on a replacement puppy.  No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been bred or euthanized without prior permission of the seller.  This guarantee applies to the original puppy and original puppy owner only. This is non-transferable to a third party.

Shipping Information:  Puppies are shipped at 8 weeks. NO EXCEPTIONS!  Shipping is at buyer’s expense.  Shipping is approx. $300 - $375 and includes airfare, shipping crate, health certificate by a licensed veterinarian.  I will try to ship your puppy when it is convenient for you but sometimes that is not always an option. I will ship your puppy at the first agreed upon date if weather permits.  If the weather is too cold or too hot shipping may be delayed. Temps must be between 20-75 degrees in both the departing and arrival cities as well as any scheduled stops in between.

Buyer Agreement: Buyer agreed that he/she understands this contract in full and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of Arizona, in the County of Maricopa. It is agreed that the place of venue shall be in Maricopa County, Arizona.

If for any reason you are no longer able to keep your pet, you must contact us and give us the fist opportunity to take him/her back. We will always be willing to take back our dogs if necessary.

What Is Included In The Purchase Of Your Puppy:  Your puppy  Current Shots (number of shots given will be dependant on the puppies age at the time of sale)  Your puppy has been given a dewormer, however we recommend that you follow your vets schedule as to when this will need to be done again.

The litter has already been registered, however you will still need to register your individual puppy under your name and information. You will be given a couple of different options on what type of registration you would like. The differences will be explained on the AKC website. Fees will be according to the type of registration you choose.  Genetic health guarantee against life threatening or life altering genetic conditions.

Payment:  A deposit of $500 is accepted on puppies under the age of 6 weeks. o Checks are only accepted for initial holding deposits. o Deposits are non-refundable!  Your puppy must be paid for in FULL on or before the date of pick up/delivery. o Full payments are non-refundable!  If for some reason you are unable to pay for your puppy in full as agreed upon, your deposit can be held for a future litter with prior written approval from The Royal Bulldog. o This does NOT guarantee that prices on future litters will be the same as the current litter you chose. Prices are subject to change at any time.  If you are out of state, shipping fees and full puppy payment must be received no less than 2 weeks prior to shipping date or at the age of 6 weeks, which ever date comes first.

Breeding:  We do NOT recommend that anyone without prior experience attempt to breed, this is best left to those that are educated in this difficult process. We do not sell our puppies for the sole purpose of being bred. If you choose to breed, that should be secondary to your love of the breed and your pet. There are multiple complications during the breeding process and you could risk the life of your beloved family friend if you do not have the necessary knowledge.  If at some point you choose to breed, we at The Royal Bulldog would like to be a part of that choice as we can help you through the process. We would be happy to provide you with advice, stud guidance and support throughout the process. It has taken us many years, dedication and much heartbreak to learn what we know today and we would prefer to help you rather than you taking that risk in your own hands.
