 Graduate Student Symposium

o The costs from the BBQ symposium were $514. About $761 were made from sales. We profited about $240.

o We have found out that it is difficult to use this event to raise large amounts of funding.

 The current balance is approximately $2600.

 The tractor team is selling T-Shirts for $15.

 Lockers in the Student Room are $10 for the year.  Shortly after the meeting, we are all heading to Ruby Tuesday’s for dinner. The restaurant will donate a portion of the bill to ASABE and AOM to anybody that brings in a flyer.

Service Events—Paul Lengemann

 We will have the volunteer event at Mill Creek Horse Farm this Saturday, Oct. 25th.

 We need minimum of 6 volunteers to commit themselves this Saturday. Volunteers will groom and feed horses in a relaxed setting—no prior experience is needed.

 During the meeting, a sign-up sheet was passed around. The following people are schedule to attend this event:

o Mary Diaz, Annai Santi, Kyle Hoffman, Austin Harvey, Matthew Guthart, Kimberly Hafner, Eric Eyzaguirre, Andreu Crosby.

 We will meet at the Frazier Rogers parking lot at 8:15am sharp. We will carpool to the farm and begin work at 9:00am. We would like to commit ourselves until at least 12:30pm. We can stay longer, but this also depends on how fast the work is carried out.
