Dear Parents and Caregivers,

nd On Thursday 2 March we will be holding our Team 3 Swimming Sports. This will take place at the Hamilton Boys High Swimming Pool from 9:30 am to approximately 1:30pm. The children will walk to the pools leaving the school grounds at 9:00am.

Children are to wear uniform to school and are allowed to change into house colours (no face paint or body markings please) and bring their togs and towels, hats, morning tea and other snacks, drinks. Although the pool is slightly heated, children should bring something warm to put on between races. The top swimmers in the events will qualify to swim in the South East Hamilton Interschool champs at Hillcrest Primary School Pool on 17th March.

The Non-Champion events will take place in the Marian School pool. The children taking part in the Non-Champion Events will remain at school for the morning and then join the rest of the children at Boys High to watch the finals in the Championship competition.

We need as many helpers as we can to assist in jobs such as time-keeping, recording results etc. If you are able to help, please indicate on the slip below and return to the class teachers by Friday 24th February. There is no postponement day set aside because of full bookings at the pool complex so event will go ahead regardless of the weather .
