April 2007—Invited to participate in a roundtable discussion entitled “Director’s Dilemna.” This involved presenting research on the E&Y Communication Center and discussing best practices for the Center at the annual meeting of the National Association of Communication Centers.

February 2007—Invited lecture at Michigan State University (Graduate-Level Organizational Communication Class), presented research on psychological contracts, occupational work status, and promise fulfillment.

November 2005, 2004, 2002, 2001—Invited lecture at Michigan State University (Graduate-Level Communication Theory Class), presented research on self-construal, verbal promotion, and cross- cultural communication.

August 2000—Presented research that examined relationships between self-construal and verbal promotion at the Doctoral Honors Consortium at Northwestern University, sponsored by the National Communication Association (NCA).
