The Nettie Cronise Lutes Award is named after the first woman licensed to practice law in Ohio. To honor Nettie Cronise Lutes, the Ohio State Bar Association Women in the Profession Section established the award to recognize a women lawyer who has improved the legal profession through her own high level of professionalism and who has opened doors for other women and girls.

Please complete this nomination form, and also submit: 1. Nominee’s resume 2. A narrative (no more than 2 pages) as to why you believe the nominee meets the award criteria 3. Any additional letters of support or articles about the candidate

Award criteria: nominee must be an OSBA member and a woman who has improved the legal profession through her own high level of professionalism and who has opened doors for other women and girls.

The award will be presented at the OSBA Annual Meeting on April 28, 2016, Cincinnati, Ohio.

This form must be submitted for both new nominations and repeat nominations.
