The Center on Federal Financial Institutions cordially invites you to a policy forum on the federal reinsurance program that backstops the insurance industry against losses from terrorist attacks of up to $100 billion a year. The Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA) is up for renewal this year. The forum will present conflicting views on the desirability of renewal and ideas for modifying the program. See our website, www.coffi.org, for background papers on TRIA.
COFFI is a nonpartisan, nonprofit think tank focused on the federal government's role as insurer and lender.
