PROFESSIONAL SERVICE  Advisor to the Canadian Department of Defense on the Crisis in Darfur (Fall 2005): - Wrote a policy recommendation paper entitled “Entrenching Human Security in Policy”, which was reviewed by the Canadian Defense Minister Bill Graham, - Received positive feedback from the Canadian Department of Defense.  Reviewer/Editor: Topics in European Studies (2005-2006).  Editor-in-chief: UBC Journal of International Affairs 2004 (Fall 2004).  Coordinator: UBC Delegation to the National Model United Nations Conference (2004-2005). - Responsible for the correspondence with the Foreign Affairs Department of Canada, - In total raised, personally, over 17,000CAD in funding for the delegation from government and corporate sponsors, - In charge of the training of delegates.
