Minutes of Meeting at Buchanan social club on Thursday 14th of April 2016

Present Stephen Felinski, Anne Fuller, Steve Leftly, Elaine Potts, Simon Thomas, Dave Mallaborn, Lyne Main Apologies Adam Brierley, Adam Becky Smith, Brian Main, Tony Higham, Steve Ashworth, Nathan Sharp

FINANCES Current funds £5633 Yet to come out £665 for March training at Fearns S Felinski told the committee that the cost for Fearns so far is £6978

Checks are being carried out to make sure all the girls are paying by direct debit for March.

Fundraising

Asda have confirmed bag pack for December 17th

No quiz night has been arranged for children and parents, a date has yet to be arranged

Unfortunately we did not get a grant to support in school coaching. Club are looking to financing some activity in the schools

Simon Thomas is still investigating a friend who works for a charity that get government funding called ‘’streetleague’’ that can help with 16-25 year olds. Maybe able to help with what Nathan’s coaching etc.

Results Team News

Saturday Soccer School is starting is still increasing in numbers. A new under 9’s, U8’s and possible U7s will be formed for 2016-2017 season.

Indoors training 6-7pm has moved to a Tuesday night at All Saints High School. This ses- sion is to encourage the younger girls to join Haslingden girls and ladies f/c in order to form the new teams.

U9’s Have played 2 games against Burnley and Feniscowl . The girls are struggling to find form loosing both games, but showing some great promise.

U10’s was supposed to play 1 game but opposition cancelled.

U12s Won back to back games securing second place in the league

U13s. Lost their first game of the season 3-1 but still in contention to win the league U15s Having lost their first game 3-4 to Feniscowles & Pleasington. They came back strong wining 4-0 to Euxton. Still a good chance of winning the league but a long way to go yet.

Coaching

Brian Main and Adam Brierley have yet to do their level 1 coaching course

The club need a new secretary as Andrew has moved away. Any parents interested should get in touch.

Nothing has been received from the LFA regarding the accusation of fielding a player that was too young, what is the period that this complaint should remain open?

All teams have been entered into the Bispham tournament.

Discussion took place on whether we are going to continue to train at Fearns throughout the year. A vote took place and it was unanimous to continue.

Chairman asked for all kit and Jackets not being used to be returned.

Melissa Rose has completed her refereeing badge, so we need to use her were ever pos- sible

The committee reject the Buchanon as a venue for the presentation night. The Rossendale Rugby club has now been booked for the presentation night on the 24th of June . A letter from the club will be sent to all parents and players about the event.

All Annual trophies now need to be returned before the 12th of May

Discussions took place around the ladies getting more involved with the fundraising to help cover their financial outlay.

Becky and Dave have still yet to complete their outstanding course in order to meet charter standard conditions. Nathan has now been added.

The club constitution was signed by all those people in attendance. Remaining committee members need to sign.

Some of the players and parents attended the Accrington Stanley game. It was a fun day but we think the players were more interested in the food than the football 

Steve Berry and Simon Gamble are struggling to commit to becoming U9’s managers

No update was given on the St Peters football ground. Steve Ashworth to obtain an an- swer S Felinski stated we need to ensure all teams are putting match reports on to the website and sent to the Free press. Also player profiles and picture need updating. No feedback was given from the North Valley and Burnley youth league.

S Leftly stated that a team had been kicked out of the North Manchester league for poach- ing players.

The U9’s have entered the Blackburn festival on Saturday the 30th of April and Adam / Si- mon are to pull together a team from the soccer Saturday club to enter.

Simon, Steve, Nathan, Brian all need to do their CRC checks.

Meeting closed at 10-15pm Next committee meeting is the 12th of May
