WALKIE-TALKIE LOAN AGREEMENT
Terms & Conditions
1. Any students of KDU University College (PG) Sdn. Bhd intending to borrow a walkie-talkie (hereinafter referred to as inclusive of its peripherals) from Student Service Department (SSD of KDU College Penang) shall be required to complete and sign this form accordingly. 2. Each application to borrow a walkie-talkie from SSD must be authorized by the head of the respective school/department, recommended by clubs or societies advisor/ event’s organizer and approved by the head of SSD. 3. The borrower is entitled to inspect the physical condition of the walkie-talkie and perform a test run before signing this agreement. By so doing, he/she shall be deemed to be satisfied as to the condition of the walkie-talkie and will be expected to return the walkie-talkie in such similar conditions as he/she took it. 4. The borrower agrees to return the walkie-talkie within the loan period as stipulated in the walkie-talkie loan agreement. 5. Should the borrower wish to extend the walkie-talkie loan period beyond the loan period, he/she is required to complete and submit a fresh walkie-talkie loan agreement form on or before the expiry date. Renewal of the walkie-talkie loan agreement is subject to availability and at SSD’s discretion. 6. SSD reserves the right to recall any walkie-talkie that has been loaned out anytime within the loan period without providing any reason whatsoever, by giving notice to the borrower or any designated person in charge in the respective school/department and the recall shall be deemed effective upon receipt of the same notice. 7. If the borrower fails to comply with any of the terms and conditions of this agreement or if the walkie-talkie is not returned after the expiry loan period, SSD reserves the right to give the borrower not less than twenty four (24) hours’ notice in writing SSD Student Service Department Ext: + 604 238 6230 Email: [email protected]
to recall the walkie-talkie unless the borrower has applied to extend the loan period or has notified SSD in writing explaining the late return and such explanation is deemed satisfactory by the head of SSD. 8. The borrower shall be fully accountable for the care and safekeeping of the walkie-talkie while in his/her possession and any damage or loss of the walkie-talkie inclusive of its peripherals and its consequent repair charges or cost of replacement shall be borne by the borrower.
