Entry and Business Regulations 1. Fees are fixed by the Kolbe Catholic College Greenvale Lakes Board and are subject to alteration. Where possible, notification of any alterations will be given in advance. 2. Annual school fees and levies are charged in full in the first two weeks of the new school year. Other optional fees are charged where appropriate. 3. Automatic family discounts apply when two or more siblings are students at the College. The discount is applied to the Annual Tuition Fee as follows:  10% discount for second child 20% discount for third child 50% discount for any further child 4. No deduction can be made on account of absence, as the expenses incurred in maintaining the efficiency of the College are not lessened by the temporary absence of individual students. There are no family discounts applicable to composite levies, capital levies or camp/activities fees Payment Terms and Conditions The annual tuition fees and levies may be paid by one of the following options  Paid in full by the end of February – Discount of $100.00 per family  By equal monthly instalments (February to September)  Request for a special arrangement. Interview with the Business Manager required  Pay by instalments via direct debit plan (February to September) – Discount of $50.00 per family All fees are due to be paid no later than the 30th September each year. Photography for Publication From time to time, opportunities arise to promote the College through advertising in various media publications and displays. I agree to allow Kolbe Catholic College Greenvale Lakes to use a photograph of my child in publications related to the College. I give permission for a photograph of my child to be used by the Catholic Education Office Melbourne (CEOM) and Catholic Education Commission of Victoria Ltd (CECV) for online and printed promotional and educational materials without acknowledgment, remuneration or compensation. Licensed under N.E.A.L.S. The photograph may appear in material which will be available to schools and education departments around Australia under the National Educational Access Licence for Schools (NEALS), which is a licence between education departments of the various states and territories, allowing schools to use licensed material wholly and freely for educational purposes.

Conditions of Enrolment (please read and check again before signing) 1. Fees are payable in accordance with payment terms listed on the College’s schedule of tuition fees and charges. Fees are reviewed by the College Board on an annual basis. 2. The parents of the student/s applying will be responsible for all breakages and damage to College property caused by the student. The cost of repairs or replacement will be added to the student’s account. 3. The parents of the student/s applying for enrolment shall accept liability for the payment of the fees. 4. The parents of the student/s applying for enrolment acknowledge that such enrolment will only be finalised after the matter of any outstanding financial commitment to the parish or parish primary School is resolved with the Parish Priest. 5. Students shall comply with any requirements the College may make in respect to uniform, general appearance, behavior and participation in the College’s programme of activities and Religious Education programme. 6. The College will not be responsible for loss or damage to clothes, effects etc. of a student. It is suggested that parents ensure that their own insurance policy provides adequate cover for these items. 7. These conditions are subject to alteration from time to time by the College. Any such alteration shall be notified in writing to the parents. Continuing enrolment of a student at the College following the receipt of such notice shall be deemed to constitute acceptance of the revised conditions. 8. Privacy Statement The College is collecting this information to facilitate the enrolment of your child to Kolbe Catholic College Greenvale Lakes. This information is used for general educational purposes as intended under the contract of enrolment and the development initiatives within the College community. The information will only be used for the purposes for which it has been provided.

Privacy of Collected Information

1. The College collects personal information, including sensitive information about pupils and parents or guardians before and during the course of a pupil’s enrolment at the College. The primary purpose of collecting this information is to enable the College to provide schooling for your son/daughter. 2. Some of the information we collect is to satisfy the college’s legal obligations, particularly to enable the College to discharge its duty of care. 3. Certain laws governing or relating to the operation of schools require that certain information is collected. These include Public Health and Child Protection laws. 4. Health information about pupils is sensitive information within the terms of the National Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act. We ask you to provide medical reports about pupils from time to time. 5. The College from time to time discloses personal and sensitive information to others for administrative and educational purposes. This includes to other schools, government departments, Catholic Education Office, the Catholic Education Commission, your local diocese and the parish, medical practitioners, and people providing services to the school, including specialist visiting teachers, sport coaches, volunteers and counsellors. 6. If we do not obtain the information referred to above we may not be able to enrol or continue the enrolment of your son/daughter. 7. Personal information collected from pupils is regularly disclosed to their parents or guardians. On occasion’s information such as academic and sporting achievements, pupil activities, photos of students and other news is published in school newsletters, magazines and on our website. 8. Parents may seek access to personal information collected about them and their son/daughter by contacting the school. Pupils may also seek access to personal information about themselves. However, there will be occasions when access is denied. Such occasions would include where access would have an unreasonable impact on the privacy of others, where access may result in breach of a school’s duty of care to the pupil, or where pupils have provided information in confidence. 9. As you may know the College from time to time engages in fundraising activities. Information received from you may be used to make an appeal to you. It may also be disclosed to organisations that assist in the College’s fundraising activities solely for that purpose.
