Jie JIAO, Associate Dean of Tsinghua SEM; Associate Professor in the Department of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategy; executive director of Research Center for China’s industrial development; deputy director of the enterprise growth and economic security research center; member of American Management Association (AOM)

He once served as Senior Manager in Investment Analysis of China Netcom Corporation (CNC), Director in Strategic Planning Department of China Netcom Broadband Corporation Ltd., and Business Development Manager in Assets Management Department of China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO) Group.

His main research fields and academic achievements: Chinese Enterprises’ International M&A Strategies, Strategic Management Theory(M&A, Strategic Alliances, Competitive Strategy, etc), International business strategy and Foreign direct investment (FDI), Localization Strategies for Multinational Enterprises (MNEs), Corporate Social Responsibilities; Business-government relationship, etc.

He took in charge of or participated in many research projects, such as"Impact of asymmetric competition on social network" sponsored by State Natural Sciences Foundation, "Intellectual property assets assessment study of cross-border mergers and acquisitions" sponsored by State Intellectual Property Bureau, "Mechanisms of the effect of network" sponsored by Tsinghua University arts innovation fund, etc.
