2001- 2009 Head of the Department of Electronics in the Field of Industrial Electronics and Control, Jazan College of Technology, Saudi Arabia. Main Responsibilities: 1) Supervising the department, following up the performance of the teaching and technical staff. 2) Identifying the department’s needs for teaching and technical support staff, equipment and materials. 3) Proposing plans for annual activities of the department. 4) Specifying the obstacles that hinder the implementation of the department’s plans and programs and suggesting means of overcoming these obstacles. 5) Preparing the study schedules, in cooperation with the heads of the other departments. 6) Following up students’ academic counseling. 7) Ensuring the implementation of health and safety measures in laboratories and workshops. 8) Evaluating staff performance and forwarding the appraisal forms to the Dean. 9) Providing the Dean with the minutes of Departmental Council meetings.
