December 9, 2014 Chapter meeting included vivid discussions regarding Meaningful use and the steps we need to meet the criteria set by CMS. Individuals spoke on their processes and resources they use. At the conclusion of the meeting the chapter hosted their Annual Induction of the PAHCOM Chapter Board. The 2015 board elected by their peers include; Ruth Hoock, CMM, HITCM-PP President, Sharon Miller, CMM Vice-President, Ruth Brasch Secretary, Becky Davey, CMM Treasurer and Diana Brijbag, CMM, CPC, CCP, CMSCS, HITCM-PP Membership Director. The induction ceremony was beautiful providing a yellow rose for outgoing board members and a red one for the incoming positions. The board is very excited to continue to grow the Spring Hill Chapter through education and sharing knowledge with the PAHCOM community. We strive to get dynamic speakers that will enhance our member’s positions in their respective offices. Dinner was provided by Oak Hill Hospital and topped off with a cake celebrating our accomplishments of the past and excitement for the future.
