APPLICANT’S AFFIDAVIT TO TAKE THE MISSISSIPPI BAR EXAMINATION PURSUANT TO RULE IV, SECTION 5, C(2)

FORM 14 b(1)

I, (applicant should type their name in this blank) am notifying the MBBA that my anticipated date to complete the requirements for my Juris Doctorate degree is (applicant should type the date in this blank). I understand that I may be allowed to take the Mississippi Examination under Rule IV, Section 5, C(2), which requires that all course work toward my Juris Doctorate degree be completed within sixty (60) days of the Mississippi Bar Examination.

I understand that in addition to completing this form, I must provide the Dean's office with a FORM 14b(2) to complete and file with the MBBA stating that all requirements towards my Juris Doctorate degree are tentatively scheduled to be completed within sixty (60) days of the February 2018 Mississippi Examination and is a prerequisite to take the exam.

I understand further that I must request the Dean to provide a "Certificate of Completion" (Dean must complete a second FORM 14b(2) giving final certification of completion of my Juris Doctorate degree) to the MBBA upon posting of my final grades and completion of all requirements for my Juris Doctorate degree and if this "Certificate of Completion" - FORM 14b(2) is not received by the MBBA within sixty (60) days of the first day of the Bar Examination that the examination will be considered null and void.

The deadline for this completed form to be received by the Mississippi Board of Bar Admissions is April 30, 2018.
