Join us for a Crop Mob at Hines Valley Organic Farm on Sunday, May 6th. A Crop Mob is a group of people that goes to a farm to help for a day. So get ready to get dirty! We'll be doing crop mobs throughout the summer, but this one is special because Hines Valley is a certified organic farm and you've probably had some of their produce at Three Rivers Market or at last year's Pesto Festo. We will be meeting at the house of Mary Rogers at 944 Chickamauga Ave. (near Senor Taco in North Knoxville). Please meet at 10 a.m. to carpool. We'll plan on being back around 4pm. If you want to drive yourself, Hines Valley Organic Farm is located at 19801 Hines Valley Road in Lenoir City. Please bring some snacks or a dish to share and we'll have a farm picnic! 3. Save the Date for Pesto Festo 2012! Our annual Pesto Festo will be held a little earlier this year on Saturday, June 30th. We're heading to Riverplains Farm in Jefferson County where they have a beautiful view and wonderful selection of farm fresh food to share with us. More to come... Happy Farmers Market Season!
