Communications Committee Member Social Media Marketing Team Lead

Monthly Time Commitment: 3 – 7 hours The ideal volunteers should have a passion for developing cutting edge social networking programs, and for measuring and analyzing their performance to inform future social media growth. Ultimately, the goal is to engage current members and find new members by engaging them and ensuring that they maintain their membership and also attend monthly chapter meetings. There are many HR groups in the area and our goal is to ensure that HRA-NCA is the HR group that HR professionals turn to first. In this volunteer role, committee members will work to extend the social media presence for HRA-NCA. Committee members will champion the brand online. In short, you will be responsible for professionally representing the brands in the social space, and strengthening the brand image utilizing the latest social and promotional tools and techniques. Responsibilities  Work with the VP of Communications to develop engagement strategies across social media platforms.  Manage and grow social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn and other relevant social sites.  Provide recommendations on how to optimize social media campaigns and measure the impact of social media on overall marketing efforts.  Create and maintain a social media editorial calendar.  Establish consistency of message across social pages.  Support and protect the HRA-NCA brand by maintaining positive messaging in the community.  Create and ensure consistency between Web sites and social pages  Monitor, track and report on metrics to the VP of Communications  Prepare reports to update committee members  Monitor social media groups, trends, tools and applications, and recommend actions.  Set and track meaningful metrics to evaluate success.  Attend communications committee monthly meetings. Specifically monitor the following: LinkedIn Twitter -Manage requests to join, auto-response -Research best practices templates -Find key people to “follow” -Create and manage subgroups as needed -Live Tweet during HRA-NCA events -Monitor and enforce standards and rules to -Re-tweet content from other Twitter users accounts -Manage feeds Facebook -Manage, start, and contribute to discussions -Post events -Manage content -Invite others to group
