Guidance to manage the map files This tutorial will show you how to install a map. For example, let’s get the map of Russia in to the software. At first, find this folder in the phone, ‘SunaviMapData’.

The maps are available for download on the following link: http://sdrv.ms/LvgF7o (click on the map filename to start the download)

Extract the package of the Russian maps (Russian.rar). You can use WINRAR software or your favorite file archive manager. Winrar evaluation version is available on the following link: http://www.win-rar.com/index.php?id=postdownload&dl=/rar/wrar411.exe

Find these two files with DB and SIG extensions. Copy them to this path in your TF card. \SunaviMapData\MAPS 1. Please also find this location on the memory card: \SunaviMapData\CONFIG If you can find a folder with the map name (in this example Russia) you can go to the next step. If CONFIG folder does not contain a folder with the map (country) name (in this case Russia) then copy the folder titled with the country into it. You can find the necessary CONFIG folders in the following packed file (SunaviMapData): http://sdrv.ms/KXDC0L It contains the complete navigation software.

2. Please find this TAB file in the path. \SunaviMapData\MAPS\MultiMap.tab Open it with the notepad

You can find some parameters like this. Please check it carefully; the one started without # will be the maps you copied inside. Make the right modification here. The others MUST start with #. Please take care of not making two items title with the same country.

Note: 1. Make sure the storage of the TF card is large enough. 2. You can also delete some map files. Just delete the DB file, SIG file and the folder started with the exact country. The modification is also needed based on the MultiMap.tab file.
