FOT VARIETY SHOW 2017 Have a talent you would like to share with your classmates? The FOT Variety Show is back! We can’t wait to see the skills our FOT students!! {You must be able to attend ALL dates below}

PRIMARY (K-3) Rehearsal – Monday, March 13th from 3:30-5pm in the multipurpose room Show – Monday, March 20th** at 6:30pm (arrive by 6:15pm) (If there are not enough performers for two shows, the primary show will be combined with the Intermediate show on Tuesday, March 21st)

INTERMEDIATE (4-6) Rehearsal – Tuesday, March 14th from 3:30-5pm in the multipurpose room Show – Tuesday, March 21st at 6:30pm (arrive by 6:15pm)

PRIOR TO REHEARSAL: 1. Limit performance time to 3 minutes 2. Students may showcase up to two talents if they wish (either showcasing two different talents on your own or by performing solo and with a group) 3. If you have an act that includes students from both the primary and intermediate levels, you may select the show you would like to perform with. Please indicate this on your permission slip. 4. Choosing Music – if your act will require music, please read the lyrics to be sure it is school appropriate: no profanity, suggestive themes or reference to violence. a. Lyrics – attach a printed copy of lyrics to permission slip (one per group) b. Place music on a CD (label with student names) or email .mp3 file to [email protected] 5. Permission Slips – every student must have their own permission slip submitted by the due date: include any special equipment needed such as microphones, mats, tables, etc.

AT REHEARSAL: 1. COSTUMES: If your act will include costumes, the students must wear the costume for rehearsal. Students may be dismissed at 3:10 to the multipurpose room, and then proceed to change into costumes. Students must be ready by 3:30pm. 2. Every student must be present AND PREPARED for rehearsal to participate in the show (music, lyrics, and permissions slip submitted prior to rehearsal!!!) 3. After your act has rehearsed on stage, you are free to leave.

THE SHOW: Students should arrive in costume no later than 6:15pm for the evening show. Please consider staying to enjoy the entire show!!

I will be responsible for transportation home from rehearsal and to and from school for the evening performance.
