8th Annual "Smokin' the Fort-BBQ & Bluegrass Festival" October 21st & 22nd, 2016 Historic Downtown Fort Gibson

It’s time for the “Smokin’ the Fort BBQ & Bluegrass Festival” planning to begin and we want to give you the opportunity to be one of the Presenting or Corporate Sponsors of this event. This is always a fun event and well attended by not only the local people but people from across our state and others. We look forward to another great competition. The growth and recognition we are receiving for our Annual KCBS Sanctioned, "Smokin' the Fort-BBQ & Bluegrass Festival" is exciting. This event is scheduled for October 21st & 22nd in historic downtown Fort Gibson. Governor Mary Fallin has once again proclaimed this event "Smokin' the Fort-BBQ & Bluegrass Festival Day" in Oklahoma and it is recognized as the "State Championship BBQ Competition" in Oklahoma.

We are looking for Corporate Sponsors. We have added several levels of sponsorships for this year and want to give everyone the opportunity to select what best suits their business.

Presenting Sponsor (Top Billing) $5,000.00 (Radio & TV, Poster, Facebook, Logo on Shirt + 2 Shirts) Hot Corporate Sponsor $2,500.00 (Radio & TV, Poster, Facebook, Logo on Shirt + 2 Shirts) Corporate Sponsor $1,000.00 (Poster, Facebook, Logo on Shirt + 2 Shirts) This annual event includes the KCBS Sanctioned BBQ Competition with entries from throughout the region and the "Taster's Choice" competition with cash awards. The taster kits for the public and the outstanding Blue Grass music are always a big hit. It is a great community event geared toward the entire family and always draws a very large crowd.

Sponsorship donations go toward putting on the event, covering the cost of the live entertainment, the cash prizes and awards, and the cost of advertising. This event not only provides funds to promote economic development within our community, but helps bring visitors which in turn help our local economy.
