Complete the following activities using complete sentences.

The Holocaust: A Tragic Legacy http://library.thinkquest.org/12663 What would you do? Click on “See a Camp.” At the bottom of the article, you will find a link that takes you to interactive scenarios wherein you will have to make a difficult decision- as though you were there. Read through the situations and follow the directions. Compare your answers with those listed online. Answer the questions on a separate sheet of paper to be handed in. Make sure you complete the questions that ask you why you chose a particular solution. You must answer all three.

Option 1: Click on “The Camps.” This will take you to specific concentration camps, showing pictures of each. Next to the picture, you will find a link for an interactive map of each camp. Click on this to walk your way through the camp. If you choose this option, you are to write a paper (one full page) about the particular camp you toured. What were your impressions? What stood out the most about the camp? What does the camp represent? Add anything else that made an impression on you.

Option 2: Click on “Interactive Maps.” This will take you to the journey of a concentration camp prisoner. If you choose this option, you are to write a paper (one full page) about that person’s experience. Add your impressions as you walk through it as well. Describe where you went on your tour, etc.
