Membership Report by Andy Anderson -Only half of the membership fees have been paid so far. -What can we do to get the members to pay? -Next year when sending out membership renewel to have a deadline for payment and if not paid by that time membership price will increase. -Membership certificates are ready to go out to the members of the Morris and District Chamber of Commerce. Moved By Andy Anderson Motion to accept Membership Report by Cheryl Crick CARRIED Administrative Assistant Report- - Reported on updates to website and facebook. - Started working on history of the Morris and District Chamber of Commerce page for the website - Put up poster about reminders of the new website and meeting dates. - Was able to get MTS to disconnect our landline. - General office duties.

SMCC Report- no report

Old Business -Manitoba Chamber AGM Meeting Winkler Manitoba $375.00 registration fee. -Town of Morris construction signs . Check with Ruth Murray town representive to see where we are at with approval. -Scott Crick reported on winter carnival. Reported that is was a huge success for our first carnival. Thank you to all businesses that supported this event. -Phone line have been dissconnect for our main landline by MTS. Motion to have a 1- 800 phone line and if they can an anwering service added to Cheryl Crick Cell or Home phone #. Motion by Andy Anderson. Moved by Pat Schmidtke. CARRIED

New Business -Mabel to let Cheryl know when is a good date to have Dana Lachun from Triple R host and event for business that will be affected by this summer construction.. -Stampede Pancake Breakfast. Motion to have Access Credit Union take on the Stampede Pancake Breakfast on the Friday. Motion by Andy Anderson. Moved by Cheryl Rempel. CARRIED -Pat Schmidtke will report next meeting on what is happening in regards to Stampede Kick Off -Do we need a survey of our business to see what they would like to do for Stampede Kick Off this year? -Stampede Kick Off hiring of band. Motion to have the Band Luke & Murray be hired at a rate of $600.00 to perform during the Stampede Kick Off. Susan will write the letters and get sponorship of this event. Motion by Susan Chartier. Moved by Andy Anderson. CARRIED -Cheryl is going to check with Julie to see how much the cost of putting up a second calendar on the website for other events such as socials, and more recreation events. - Adjournment of meeting at 1:05 P.M Moved by Andy Anderson Motions to accept adjournment Cheryl Crick Carried
