TEMPLATE: Bushfire Risk Assessment How to do a risk assessment Step 1: Think about out how your business or organisation could be impacted by bushfire and develop a Bushfire Risk Register using the table in Part 1. First estimate how likely the risk is to occur and the consequences if the risk did occur. Then, use the Risk Rating Table below work out the level of risk. E.g. if the risk was estimated as being at least Possible and the consequences were potentially estimated as Moderate then the risk rating would be (M) High. Step 2: Once you have rated your risks, use the Bushfire Treatment Register to work out how you can reduce the risk. Bushfire Risk Assessment Matrix RISK RATING TABLE
