SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT Congratulations to Dr. Pomponio and Mr. Hayhurst on being elected to the Board.

There was nothing new to report on regarding our budget. A rally was being held today in Lansing as the State has until November 20 to make their final decision on funding and we will know more at that time.

Thanks to Col. Clemens and Sgt. Cucheron for attending the meeting this evening with their students. They have made our JROTC a top notch program.

Mr. Peden said there are eight football teams left playing and we are one of them. Channel 4 is hosting an election to have a pep rally at one of these final games and if Southgate wins, this pep rally will be very early Friday morning. Our Band received 6th place in the State which is a great accomplishment.

Mr. Peden will be distributing a Save our Students, Schools and State petition and the signed forms will be sent to our legislators.

Mr. Peden said the results in the election of the Non Homestead Millage renewal was rewarding as this shows support from our community.
