Bovard Show Rundown Template

BOVARD SHOW RUNDOWN TEMPLATE

This is an example of a show rundown. Please use it as an example to model your own. A show rundown needs to include lighting, audio, and stage movement cues. Anything not listed on this rundown or questionnaire may not be able to be accommodated. This is a working draft document. Feel free to send updates as you go along. If your performance is a dance show, please see the dance show addendum.

If your reservation includes rehearsal time, you must also provide a running order for that (see sample). Please note, rehearsal time must be booked separately from the mandatory hour and a half of set-up and hour of tear down, during which only the Bovard Auditorium staff is allowed onstage (you may be in the auditorium, but not onstage). Also, Bovard staff is required by University policy to take a 30 minute break after every 5 hours. Please include this in your timeline budget.

*Please note, Bovard crew will delegate set up and tear down time as they see fit. The minimum amount of set up time required is 1.5 hours. During this time, you may be asked not to be onstage for safety purposes. Deliveries may arrive during these 1.5 hours, but they must be arranged in advance. The minimum amount of tear down time is 1 hour. Notes: 1. If you have a rehearsal scheduled, these cues will be modified or created. If this is the case, please create a document with blank spaces listed next to cues and print 3 copies so that our Stage Manager, Lighting Technician, and Audio Technician may fill in the cues during rehearsal. 2. If there is stage movement cues indicated, please submit diagrams showing the various set ups. 3. Please include running times for all numbers (even if they are rough estimates). 4. Please include any microphones, instrument requirements, input lists, or audio equipment needed for musical performances. 5. Also include whether you would like wired microphones, wireless handheld microphones, wireless lavaliere microphones, or wireless headset microphones. Please note that Bovard Auditorium only provides 6 wireless channels. 6. If performances are exchanging body or handheld microphones, please indicate these changeovers. 7. Bovard Auditorium does not have in house backline (amplifiers for instruments) or a piano. 8. Please include in your rehearsal/set up time line the arrival of any deliveries (these must be arranged with the Bovard Production Managers. 9. If your total reservation time is longer than 8 hours, you must schedule in a meal break for crew. Each crew member may not take that break at the same time, they can be rotated in shifts. So, for example, if the lighting technician is on break, you cannot program lights during that time, but may choose to work on audio cues.
