STUDENTS

. October is National Bullying Prevention Month. This includes Cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is the use of technology to harass, hurt, embarrass, humiliate, and intimidate another person. Students using technology to bully, just like those who bully face-to-face, often look for targets who are vulnerable, socially isolated, or who may not understand social norms. Be sure you do not delete any messages from a Cyber bully and you should report and turn that information over to our administration or an adult as soon as possible. . Attention art club members: our next meeting is Tuesday, October 25 at 7:00 sharp! Please make every effort to attend. If you are an SMA morning student, please see Mrs. V. for missed information. . Attention Lutcher Atomic Bulldog Band members: Practice will be held on Thursday ONLY, from 2:40– 4:00. All members are expected to attend. If you cannot attend, you MUST see Mrs. Boudwin on Monday or Thursday to present your excuse. The uniform for Friday night is full band uniform— bibbers, band t-shirt, shoes, spats, clean pink gloves, jacket, cape, hat and plume.

SPORTS

 MS girls’ basketball tryouts will be Saturday, October 29. Any MS girl interested in trying out needs to sign up on the sign up sheet outside Mrs. James or Mrs. Lejeune’s classroom. Physical packets can be picked up in the front office.  HS boys’ soccer tryouts are today and Tuesday at 5:00. Please meet at boys’ soccer locker room and wear purple and/or gold. HS girls’ soccer tryouts today and Tuesday at 5:00. Please meet at the football practice field underneath the pavilion. Please make sure to turn in physical and soccer contract to Mrs. Clement today or bring to tryouts.  Middle School Girls Soccer tryouts are Wednesday, October 26th at 3:00 on the practice field across from pound. Please make sure to turn in physical to Mrs. Clement today, or bring to tryouts Wednesday.  MS football game away vs. White Castle at 5:30.  Volleyball game home vs. Glen Oaks at 4:30.
