Colorado HOSA Dress Code STATE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
General Sessions, Testing, and Symposiums Business attire must be worn during general sessions, testing, and symposiums. Business attire is defined differently for males and females.
Females will wear one of the following: 1. Business suit
2. HOSA Blazer coordinated with dress
3. Blouse with skirt or dress slacks
Other Requirements Skirts and dresses must be no more than two inches above the knee and must be loose fitting
Blouses and dresses must have sleeves
No bare midriffs
Dress shoes and stockings
o *Open-toed shoes without stockings, flip-flop, and sandals will not be permitted
Males will wear one of the following: 1. Business suit
2. Coordinated slacks and blazer with collared dress shirt and necktie
3. HOSA blazer coordinated with slacks
4. Collared dress shirt and necktie, dress slacks
Other Requirements Dress shoes and socks
No athletic shoes or sandals will be permitted
Competitive Event’s Dress Attire Delegates must adhere to the dress code as specified in the individual competitive event guidelines for the orientation and event in which they are competing.
Free Time, Dance, HOSA Hangout
Colorado HOSA Chapter Success Guide, Updated December 13, 2015 During free time, the dance, and the HOSA Hangout: neat, casual clothes are acceptable. Shoes must be worn when in public areas. Items not acceptable include hats, bathing suits (unless at pool), suggestive attire, and pajamas.
