Bridlington Lion’s Carnival Sunday 3 rd August 2014

We would like to ask you to make a note of the above event and date in your diary. If you have attended our Carnival in previous years you will know that this is an extremely successful event with approximately 9/10000 people attending last year’s Carnival. This is held on the Cliff Tops between the Coastguard Station at Limekiln Lane and Sewerby. The move to the other side of the Land Train Track has given us much more room for even more stalls and events.

The Car Boot will be there as usual and this attracts around 100 cars and is very popular with the crowds who attend this event annually. All day parking is available at a very reasonable charge.

The Carnival runs from 10.30 a.m. to approximately 5.30 p.m. (weather permitting) and the Car Boot Sale from 7.30 a.m. to the end of the Carnival.

We enclose an application form giving full details if you wish to have a stall, stand or other exhibit and look forward to receiving this as soon as possible as sites are strictly on a first come first served basis. Sites will be allocated and we have to be strict on the use of the allocated sites as complaints have been received in previous years about exhibitors siting themselves where they want to be.

If you know of any other group/organisation or person who would like to attend the Carnival please pass their details to myself so that we can contact them.

Conditions of Booking  All organisations must be covered by current Public Liability Insurance. Photo copy to be sent with application .

 All Exhibits which involve rides or inflatables will be required to produce the necessary certificates which comply with Health & Safety Regulations. Photo copy to be sent with application.

 All Exhibits serving food must be in possession of current Food Hygiene Certificate, a copy of which must be sent with application and displayed on the day.

 The deadline for applications is – Friday 30th May 2014 for Charities and single exhibits

Friday 25th April 2014 for multiple exhibits/fairground rides/inflatables
