Board Goals:
1. The Board will conduct a workshop on budget development and control to be completed by the end of the calendar year 2009, (before end of business Dec 31st, 2009), prior to the next school year budget process.
2. The Board will conduct a minimum of 2 facilitated retreats with target groups of staff on topics of special concern. These retreats are to be completed by end of current school year, June 30, 2010.
3. The Board would like to see the number of district graduates going on to college or post-secondary education increase by 10% by 2010-2011. 1.1. PRELIMINARY MATTERS/PUBLIC COMMENT

8.2 The superintendent recommends the board of education of the Pioneer Central School District approve the funding and ratification of the Pioneer Auxiliary Association Labor Agreement. The Agreement is effective July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2012. The superintendent of schools shall have authority on behalf of the board of education to acknowledge the agreement accordingly - posted

8.3 The board authorizes the board president to commit by signature to the terms of engagement provided by Harris Beach law firm for attorney Jeffrey Weiss to render services to Pioneer School District specifically in the area special education at following rates per hour: - posted
Partners & Senior Counsel - $210/hour Associates - $180/hour Law Clerks - $130/hour Paralegals - $85 Individuals who assist on District matters (e.g. library specialists, audit letters, computer forensic audits) – range from $85 - $125.
