Dearly beloved, we are assembled here in the presence of God and these witnesses to celebrate the joining of this man and this woman in the unity of marriage.

There are no obligations on earth sweeter than those you are about to assume.

There are no vows more serious than those you are about to make.

The state of matrimony is based upon this deep union of two souls who seek to find completion in one another. Do you understand this?

Declaration of Intention:

Groom/Bride, will you take this woman, whose hands you hold, choosing her alone to be your wedded wife/husband?

Will you live with her in the state of true matrimony?

Will you love her, comfort her, through good times and bad, in sickness and in health, honor her at all times, and be faithful to her?

Rings:

As you take these rings, remember that to love is to come together from the pathways of your past and move forward...

Hand in hand, along the uncharted roads of your future, ready to risk, to dream, and to dare....

And always believe that all things are possible, with faith and love in each other.

 Let this ring  Forever remind you  And the world  That we are one

Please repeat after me...

 I Groom/Bride,  take you Bride/Groom  to be my wife,  to love and cherish,  from this day forward,  I pledge to you my faith.  With my love and commitment,  Today and forever  I take you as my wife. May you love deeply, laugh heartily, practice patience, and smile often.

May you dream together, grow, be crazy, give, give in, and trust to take.

May you see many sunrises, listen to the rain, savor special moments, walk gently through the world and know its beauty.

May you discover each other, listen carefully, and always have open hearts.

May happiness be your companion and together may your days be good and long upon the earth.

THESE HANDS:

Take a moment to look at each other’s hands so that you may see the gift that they are to you.

These are the hands of your best friend, strong and full of love for you, that are holding yours, on this, your Wedding Day, as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow and forever.

These are the hands that will love you and cherish you through the years, and with the slightest touch will comfort you like no other.

These are the hands that will give you strength when you need it, support and encouragement to pursue your dreams, and comfort in difficult times.

And lastly, these are the hands that even years from now will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just one touch.

Minister’s Message

 Happiness in marriage doesn't just happen.  A good marriage must be created, nurtured, and worked at.  Little things are big things.  Never being too old to hold hands.  It is remembering to say, "I love you”  Mutual sense of values and common objectives;  It is you two standing together facing the world and all it offers.  It is the two of you forming a circle of love around you that gathers in family & friends.
