WHO? 12 pupils selected from current Year 12 & Year 13 pupils applications and interviews before half term holiday

WHERE? Travelling Dublin – Dubai – Delhi Staying at The Legend Inn – a 3* hotel in South East Delhi Return stopover in Dubai

WHAT? Working in Kusumpur Pahadi, a slum in South West Delhi Painting the Rainey Endowed Children’s Resource Centre Organising craft/games/English sessions with local children Meeting young people from Kusumphur who are hoping to go to university Visiting lanes with ASHA staff to see the work of Asha in action

WHY? Part of Tercentenary Celebrations Play our part in making a difference to the lives of children Response to world poverty Develop awareness of global citizenship issues Support and encourage Dr Kiran Martin and the ASHA staff in their work

COST? £1600 £1250 – parental contribution (1 x £150 and 11 x £100 instalments) £350 (min) - personal commitment in fundraising towards team expenses & project (includes all travel expenses, insurance, visa, accommodation, all meals & sightseeing trips, including visit to the Taj Mahal and Red Fort at Agra)
