SANCTIONED: This meet has been sanctioned by OFSAA . Consequently, all OFSAA eligibility / transfer regulations will apply.

REGISTRATION: Via www.trackdatabase.com Meet code: 23STS6 Deadline Tuesday May 6 th , 2014 by 5:00 pm – Entry fee doubles after this date.

FACILITIES: Maximum spike length is 6 mm There will be a complete food service on site

AWARDS: Top three in each event

DEDICATION: This meet is being held to continue the ideals of Father John Redmond who saw competitive athletics as an enriching and rewarding experience in the education of youth.

DIVISIONS: Age groupings are according to their year of birth. (OFSAA Rules) Midget - Born in 1999 & in 1st year of high school Junior - Born in 1998 Senior – Born in 1995 or later & must have entered grade nine in 2009 or later

ENTRY FEE: Individual: $ 8.00 per athlete per event

Relay Team: $ 12.00 per team per event

Maximum Fee: $ 200

Post Entry: $ 12 per competitor per event (where possible based on entry size)

Entry fees must be paid at registration in order to receive entry package. A receipt will be issued at registration. No post dated cheques, no refunds. Do not send fee through the mail.

ENTRY SIZE: A ) No maximum entries for each individual track events, including relays.

B ) Field events – single division Maximum entries - Three entries

C ) Field events – double division ( Junior / Senior ) Maximum entries - Two per division

MARSHALLING: Events will start on time. Competitors in track events will be marshaled at the location indicated by the announcer. Competitors in field events will report directly to their event after it has been announced.

OFFICIATING: Each school must supply one official. Please email name of official and preference to Steve Masterson at [email protected]

SCHEDULE: The tentative schedule is included. The final schedule will be available in your coaches package. We will go ahead of schedule where possible and within reason of up to ½ hour.

SAFETY: Athletes are not to be practicing shot put, discus, or javelin anywhere but the designated throwing area and only when the meet official is present. Only competing throwers and officials should be inside of the designated throwing area.

FIRST AID: Trained medical therapists will be available on site.

NOTES: 1) In Junior/Senior throwing events, there will be two sets of awards: one for junior and one for senior. **Midgets should enter as juniors.

2) Long Jump designated as ‘open’, can include juniors and seniors.

3) The actual measurement of field events will begin at specified distances.
