A. ENVIRO AirSeal Model-715S Single Horizontal Recirculatory Air Door with attached roll-up door.

1. Door size to fit door opening _____ wide X _____ high, or as shown on architectural drawings.

2. Door shall be electrically operated single horizontal recirculatory air units with integrated high-speed fabric roll-up door. All components to be by the same manufacturer.

3. Door to be single horizontal recirculatory air (cooler) (freezer) door. AirSeal unit shall be designed to be a self-supporting structure. All assemblies to be constructed of minimum 16 gauge galvanized steel, (optional: stainless steel). Complete design to form an installed sealed construction.

4. Header assembly to be a single unit of 16 gauge galvanized construction, (optional: stainless steel). Freezer header assembly to include a pre-installed and pre-wired self-contained heater unit. Heater to be self-regulating and fully adjustable through main control box panel.

(Or Option for Hot Gas: Freezer header assembly to include a pre-installed ammonia gas condensing coil with stainless steel tubes and aluminum fins. Ammonia gas supply valve to be self-regulating and fully adjustable through main control box panel.)

Header assembly to produce a minimum capacity of 4,600 cubic feet per minute airflow @ 4” s.p. Operator assembly to be electric direct drive for smooth quiet high- efficiency operation. Electric motor to be a minimum of 5 hp, 230/460 volts, 3-phase unit. Header assembly to have integral high-speed fabric roll-up door.

AirSeal to include the following:

a) AirSeal must be recirculatory and horizontal in direction. Doors which do not regulate, recapture and recirculate air flow will not be accepted.

b) Top down air blowers will not be accepted.

c) Door System must be designed so that no door components impede the AirSeal during operation.

d) System must be designed to allow fabric door and AirSeal to operate independently or in combination.

e) Door System must automatically probe, monitor and display: - Dock temperature - Dock humidity - Air discharge temperature - Air discharge humidity f) AirSeal System must be designed to automatically change air mixing temperature based on the principles of the psychrometric curve.

g) Door controls to include a digital readout of all temperature and humidity inputs.

h) Controls to function in a manual or automatic mode.

i) Manual Mode to allow for fully adjustable velocity and temperature control.

j) Automatic Mode setting must be designed to mirror the psychrometric curve while minimizing the overall energy usage.

k) Door System must be fully impactable in either direction without obstructing AirSeal.

5. AirSeal supply plenum to be a minimum of 16 gauge galvanized construction, (optional: stainless steel). Plenum to include multiple individual internal horizontal air diverters and multiple fully adjustable vertical laminar air control louvers.

6. Louvers to be all galvanized construction, (optional stainless steel). Intake plenum to have full vertical unobstructed air passage through pressure differential grating. Intake plenum to utilize balanced suction through header mounted blower. Intake plenum to be of adequate width to capture and recirculate air.

7. Integrated high speed fabric door to include:

a) A minimum .060" thick construction of plastic impregnated woven multi- filament polyester fabric. Panel color to be safety orange, blue (optional: white)

b) Electric operator to allow open/close cycle of 42 inch/second or more. Electric motor to be 3/4 hp, 230/460 volts, 3 phase 60 Hz unit. Single speed operation [Option: two speed operator].

c) Door curtain to be equipped with pneumatic activated instant reversing edge(option: electric). Reversing edge to be active along full length of door edge.

d) Send & receive reversing photoeye to be located within fabric door side frame.

e) Travel limit switch to provide infinite adjustment. Adjustments to be made without the aid of special tools or removing covers.

f) Disconnect feature:

1) Must release fabric door immediately upon impact from side carriers without tearing materials in either direction.

2) Disconnect activation will cause door to automatically stop at same level where bottom bar has released, and cutout electrical activation circuit. 3) Flexible carriers to be replaced in guides without the aid of tools.

4) Replacement will restore electrical power to the activation circuit after separate electrical reset button on control box is pushed. 5) Cover for side carriers and guides must remain in place at all times. (Doors which require side covers to be unfastened and opened to reset breakaway feature will not be allowed.)

6) Door requiring magnets, straps, breakable clips, or tape connections on the breakaway feature will not be allowed.
