Caldwell’s Community Help Center Caldwell’s Community Help Center provides clothing, books, and toys to individuals in need. Individuals may also receive furniture under special circumstances. Clients must have a referral from another agency and present a valid photo ID. Grace Hill Settlement House, Patch Neighborhood Center Grace Hill Settlement House operates a thrift store that offers items at a nominal cost. Individuals must exhibit a need for services. The Patch location also houses a food pantry and offers meals and recreation for senior citizens or persons with disabilities. Isaiah 58 Ministries Isaiah 58 operates a food pantry and thrift store. Additionally, computers are available for job searches and resume writing. Kossuth Church of God in Christ Kossuth Church of God in Christ operates a food pantry and clothing closet. The food pantry offers canned goods; clothing is based on donations. Mitchell Resource Center for Social Services Mitchell Resource Center provides clothing and personal hygiene products. They offer clothing of all types but have mainly women’s clothing. In addition to offering clothing, computers are available for job searches along with workshops on financial planning and resume writing. Call to apply. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Our Lady of Perpetual Help provides free clothing. Crisis Nursery is also on site and can provide diapers and baby formula if they are available. There is a food pantry on site, though it is restricted to residents of certain areas. Saint Louis Adventist Community Services Saint Louis Adventist Community Services provides clothing and emergency supplies to victims of fire or natural disaster. Clients must reside in certain areas of St. Louis County and must call to make an appointment. A referral from a St. Louis County agency is also required and should be faxed to the number below. Sunshine Ministries Sunshine Ministries provides clothing, household products and personal hygiene items ($.25 each) to low- income individuals. Individuals must call to speak with the intake coordinator and set up an intake appointment. Prospective clients must present proof of income during their intake appointment.
