The company successfully launched over 10 well-known wearable devices. With its knowledge and expertise in the field, the company is now launching its own brand, ASOME. Established in 2008, Joongho Choi Studio is an industrial design office based in Seoul, Korea. Interested in designing a varied range of objects, Joongho Choi and his team participated in numerous projects ranging from lighting to IT electronics and furniture.

Building partnerships with various companies including American Standard, 3M, Jabra, Samsung, Banyan Tree and etc, they were introduced and awarded by several globally known media. The Studio constantly challenges itself to grant its identity into the objects, while preserving the original aesthetics of the objects.

The thought of ASOME begins with a concept that how can ubiquitous Bluetooth, appearance of user and life style are in harmony. ASOME’s design forms a sense of connectivity with user and environment. ASOME only weighs 17.9*18*45mm and so light that user can carry it everywhere. The product comes with a neck strap, hook, and clip to help user have the best look in any outfit. User can easily listen to the music with the device and have the look they want. ASOME redefines the term “Bluetooth earphone.” ASOME’s Bluetooth engine, earphone and accessory part is separated to be used in many ways. User can easily detach and attach the parts. Especially the Bluetooth engine, bluetooth module gets connected to smartphone, can be combined with the accessory part. The engine’s aux port allows connection not only to the ASOME bundle earphone but also to the other wired earphones. The device’s metal hook can be combined to a variety of accessories. User can customize the accessory based on his or her taste.

1. ASOME’s Bluetooth engine’s aux port allows connection not only to the bundled earphone but also to the cable of other earphones/headsets/speakers with 3.5 mm jack. User can use wired earphone just as other Bluetooth device. ASOME does not have separate power button. The product’s use is straightforward: the power goes on when earphone is connected, and goes off when it is disconnected.

ASOME is compatible with smartphone earphone remote. Just as the earphone is connected directly to the smartphone, earphone remote that is connected to ASOME allows user to play music, talk on the phone, use voice command, and click buttons to adjust volume. Unlike other earphone that cannot be in use when the battery runs out, ASOME allows user to separate earphone from the Bluetooth engine and continue using earphone. *A button on the center of remote button is compatible with earphone. + - volume button works with Samsung (Galaxy series), LG (G series) bundled earphones.

2. The Bluetooth engine can be combined with neckstrap, clip, holder and other accessories to give the best look user wants. - Neckstrap: neckstrap is an accessory included in basic package. Using neckstrap is most simple and comfortable way to wear ASOME. User can tie the strap to ASOME’s metal hook to wear ASOME as a necklace. ASOME’s basic package provides an earphone adjusted in length. - Hook: it is like a keychain and its short strap and hook can be tied to give different look. When connecting ASOME to regular earphone, the hook can be worn with belt and organize cables for tidy look. - Clip: A plastic like piece can be used for outdoor activities. Clipping clothes help user use ASOME comfortably.
